  • TWITTER Aus der Reihe “sinnfreie Studien”: So sollst Du Twittern: Die Studie, um die es hier geht, stammt von Paul André von Carnegie Mellon, Michael Bernstein vom MIT und Kurt Luther von Georgia Institute of Technology. Auf die Veröffentlichung der Amerikaner bin ich durch einen Beitrag auf dem Wiwo-Blog von Sebastian Matthes und den vielen Tweets in meiner Timeline aufmerksam geworden.
  • GOOGLE Mail Google Mail als Standard – ohne Heck Meck: Es ist einer der besten Google Mail-Tipps seit langem – so jedenfalls meine bescheidene Meinung. Es ist ja immer so eine Sache, wenn man kein Mailprogramm nutzt, sondern im Browser Mail benutzt. Da kann es unter Umständen schon mal vorkommen, dass man einen mailto-Link anklickt und das verhasste Mail-Programm auf dem Rechner öffnet sich.

  • PATENTKRIEG Two-Face: Will Google Become The New Patent Villain?: The Wall Street Journal is reporting this evening that the U.S. Justice Department is on the verge of approving the Google/Motorola deal. Such approval, and subsequent EU approval, means the deal could close as early as next week. When that happens, Google will not only own Motorola, they’ll own their over 17,000 patents.
